.45-70 caliber, 32 5/8" barrel, casehardened breechblock dated "1873" Full length stock with U.S. inspector's cartouche dated "1886". Serial rage 347xxx. I like new, unissued original condition retaining 99% blue including the buttplate and triggerguard. Mint wood and inspection stampings. This is one of the best conditioned early 1884 trapdoor rifles I have seen.
