It is an outstanding, superb mid 1980's to early 1990's GORGEOUS MODEL 200 LEFT-HAND LIGHT WEITHT AMERICAN LUXUS MODEL takedown Sporting Rifle by Sauer & Sohn (Germany) in the popular .270 Winchester Caliber. AN AMERICAN LUXUS MODEL 200 is a very rare rifle, and in left-hand, it is extremely rare. It looks very American, with the high gloss polyurthane finish, with a contrasting Redwood grip cap and forearm tip. This mid-1980's early 1990's vintage Sauer & Sohn Model 200 rifle is in gorgeous condition. The photos do not do it justice. The more commonly found Sauer Model 200 rifles are the Standard Model 200 and the Lux Model 200, of which I have other examples also listed on Guns , along with other Sauer 200 original extra magazines and accessories. Both the European Luxus Model and the American Luxus Model are seldom seen, with left-hand models very rare, and in a left-hand version, very rare indeed.
