Winchester Model 12 SKEET. 20 gauge, 26” solid rib barrel. Made in 1947 this 100% original skeet gun has SKEET stamped on the bottom of the frame just below the serial number. The gun is in excellent mechanical condition and has a mirror perfect bore. The metal finishes show use but no abuse; with 97% blue on the barrel and 95% on the frame. The checkering is sharp and crisp on both the stock and the forearm. The buttstock has assortment of “dings” and scratches; the forearm has an old/repaired fine crack on the left side and yet all original varnish remains. Even with nearly 70 years of handling this is a fine example of a desirable Model 12 20 gauge.
