Antique Colt Model 1895 New Army Revolver - Cal. .38 Colt - 6" Bbl. - SN 96XXX(1898) - all matching numbers. Bore and action are like new with perfect timing and lock-up.  This revolver is in mint to  near NEW condition, retaining 99% original blue overall and all of the bright nitre blue on the  trigger and screws - no rust, corrosion, or signs of wear anywhere on revolver. - all markings  are sharp and crisp - 1895 Patent Date on the barrel.  Grips are like new with sharp, crisp checkering and logo, although there is a very minor and barely noticeable chip on the bottom leading edge of the the left grip.  This Colt was shipped to Hartley and Graham in New York in april 1898.  This New Model Army  is in outstanding condition and shows no wear or abuse.  All original, except that the lanyard ring on the butt may have been added after it left the factory  as it is not noted in the Colt letter.  The New Model Army was a popular sidearm with Army and Navy personnel and old West marshalls in the late 1800's.  A very desieable early Colt DA revolver that would be hard to find in better condition !
