Description:
Serial #159275, .22 LR, 26? barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a ?U.S. PROPERTY? marked, target sight equipped rifle that retains 97-98% of the original blue finish that has silvered lightly at the muzzle as well as on the high and projecting edges of the receiver. The bolt body is finished armory bright but does have muted color case-hardening on the handle while the knob has developed a dark blue-black patina. The birch stock is in fine-excellent condition with some handling marks and small blemishes at the butt and on the forend. The black plastic trigger guard is a correct new replacement but the original guard is also included. A canvas M1 sling is installed. These rifles are no longer available from the CMP and this example is in excellent condition. Rifle will be shipped in the original CMP shipping box. FFL or C&R
