Description:
Springfield Krag 1898 pattern, S/N 241199 Very good cartouches with 1899 date. Average to above average bore with a muzzle reading between 1.5 and two. Wood is in good condition metal needs a bit more cleaning but it is a good looking rifle. The previous owner lightly put his SSN in left side of receiver. The rear sight is a 1901 pattern.
