Rizzini 12 Bore O/U Model S 792 EMEL, The Drahthaar Special, Made in Italy in 1998, Special ordered to the individual's custom specifications with his Drahthaar's engraved on the gun, 28" vent rib barrels with factory screw chokes at .725 .000 - .010 - .015 - .030 & .041" (Cyl. - Imp.Cyl. - Mod. - Imp.Mod. & Full), 3" chambers, Single selective trigger, Game forend, Open pistol grip stock at 14 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 2 1/4" over a checkered butt, 7 lbs. 2 oz., A very nice piece of wood with excellent color and contrast, This piece is the "Drahthaar Special" as the owner sent photos of his 2 favorite Drahthaar bird dogs to Rizzini and Mr. C. Cruuini engraved "Gunner" on the left sideplate and "Heidi" on the right sideplate, Heidi also graces the bottom of the frame with the Pheasant ready for the hand, Heidi was still hunting birds in 2005 but Gunner is hunting wherever great bird dogs go when they leave this bounty of birds in the upper Midwest, West and Southwest. This gun is a celebration of Drahtaar's, upland birds and the sports that pursue and keep this great tradition alive. This piece has shot over a fair number of points and remains in 92-93% condition since 1998. It is cased in the maker's Deluxe leather trunk that remains in excellent condition. This model is presently offered at over $12000 from the maker.
