Description:
S# NSN, 22 S,L +LR, 26 inch barrel, bright excellent bore. This rifle was built from 1938 to 1945 and features a hooded front sight with four sights (aperture, thin post, fat post and bead) and No M4 4 power Mossberg scope in No 5 low mount. A No 4 receiver mounted peep with screws and eye cup and the original S102 sporting rear sight (missing screw) are also included. An original military style leather sling is mounted on the quick release swivels. Rifle remains in very good condition with 75% blue and scattered light oxidation stainings. Scope is a little dim, it could probably use a good cleaning. Stock has typical marks from use and triggerguard has shrunk from age. This is a classic prewar target rifle complete with sights, scope and sling.FFL or C&R
