BRILLIANT IDENTIFIED COLT U.S. MODEL 1860 ARMY REVOLVER WITH HOLSTER CIRCA 1863. One of the best conditioned Colt U.S. Model 1860’s we have had in years. 100% original and matching in the 9x,xxx range. 90% original blue and 80% plus case hardening. Near mint grips with superb cartouches. 100% cylinder scene and perfect markings. Exceptional screws with most of the original blue. With a fine provenance directly from the family of Captain Armistead Everhart who raised and commanded his own company of Loudoun Rangers , a Virginia Unionist Cavalry Company of Partisan Ranger’s. He was wounded in action at Leesburg, Va. and died from the effects in late 1863. With his military flap holster. Exceptional example with a nice history. Price on request.
