Description:
"Very Rare" Antique manufactured 1896, ex-bore, crisp action, beautiful burlwood stock and forearm. This is on of the "most rare" configurations. Only a little over 2,000 1889 Marlins had 28" BBLs and the same number in pistol grips. This gun has XXX wood, 28" octagon BBL with full length magazine. Also #3 engraving, buckhorn rear sight. This gun has four rare features:
1. factory engraving
2. 28" octagon BBL
3. Pistol Grip
4. Deluxe wood and checkering
In very good original condition with excellen bore, this is truly a "Very" rare Marlin. It is antique, no FFL required. A great rifle for "any" collection of fine rifles!
