This Colt was made in1937. The action works correctly. The trigger release is crisp. The double action is very smooth. Pistol is in 97% plus condition. Sharp bore and chambers. The grips are Colt for this frame, however a slightly different time frame. The sights are correct and original for this pistol. The barrel is clearly marked Heavy Barrel. These heavy barrel Colts are not commonly seen and are quite collectable. This is a nice clean pistol for the shooter collector.
