PENDING SALE-After a long wait, I finally received my Shiloh Sharps Sporter this week. However, I have changed directions since ordering it, and am now offering it up for sale.
The Shiloh rifles are considered the very best of the Sharps BPCR rifles made today. This one was ordered as a #1 Sporter. It has a 30" heavy octagonal barrel, upgraded Semi-Fancy walnut, a pistol grip stock, a shotgun butt with checkered and casecolored buttplate, Pewter nosecap, dual set triggers, barrel sights, and case-colored action. I also had them custom-bore the chamber leade with a 7 degree taper, which helps accuracy considerably. The barrels sights are much faster and durable for hunting that the long-range Soule-type Tang sights, yet with their elevation ladder, can still reach well past 1,000 yards. Billy Dixon used such a barrel-mounted sight to make his famous 1,538 yard shot at Adobe Walls.
The rifle will be shipped with the literature, warranty card, and the case it was received in from Shiloh Sharps. In addition, I will include a set of 45-70 reloading dies as well as a taper crimp die, and 200 new Remington 45-70 Brass cases.
