Description:
This fine double rifle is a Verney Carron chambered in 577NE. The VC rifles are probably the strongest of the double rifle actions, with a triple lock-up design built to withstand thousands of full-house NE rounds in use.
This rifle's dimensions are LOP 15", barrel length 24", and weight on the light side at 13 lbs to make long stalks on Elephant and Buffalo a bit easier.
The rifle has upgraded wood, and some very nice engraving that added considerably to its cost. This rifle has had exactly 2 rounds fired when received, to check its regulation, which resulted in a perfect target. This rifle currently sells for $22,000, get this one for $5,000 less.
