Description:
This London built Rigby rifle was restocked and refinished for author and safari enthusiast Wilbur Smith by distinguished gun maker Paul Roberts. The rifle, originally supplied by Rigby in 1929 to the gun shop Lawn & Alder in Nairobi, was purchased by Wilbur Smith in South Africa. Recently, the gun was purchased by one of the former owners of Rigby who worked to bring Rigby back to London.
The rifle is in excellent condition with only minor blemishes as expected from a gun that has been on safari. The gun is fitted with Rigby’s custom swing-off scope mounts, and a Zeiss Victory 1-4x illuminated scope is included.
This Rigby has a great story with many pages yet to be written by its next owner.
