Description:
24" tapered round barrel. Highly figured European walnut stock with widow's-peaked ebony forend tip, wrap-around borderless ribbon-and-fleur-de-lys checkering, steel skeleton pistol grip cap, inletted and pedestalled swivel bases, beaded cheekpiece, scrolled bolt stop detail and checkered steel buttplate. Pre-1964 Winchester Model 70 action with hinged straddle floorplate with release inside triggerguard, jeweled bolt and follower, five-panel checkered bolt knob, and built-up and checkered bolt stop. Schmidt & Bender 1.5 - 6 x 42mm Zenith matte-finish scope with 30mm tube and fine 4A illuminated duplex reticle on Bolliger mounts fitted to sculptured "double-squarebridge" bases. Pull: 13 3/4". Weight: 9lbs, 2oz. A few scratches in the wood, but 99%+blue.
