Description:
This is the antique Burgess Shotgun with the sliding pistol grip--you pump the grip! Circa 1885-95. Like all standard Burgess shotguns, it is a takedown model, not the rarer hinged barrel model. Both wood and metal have been refinished in the past. About 1/2 inch is broken off the toe of the buttplate and is missing. The gun appears to function just fine and cycles shells. A good representative example of the gun by one of America's great gun inventors. Will e-mail photos if interested. $995 shipped insured to your FFL.
