#3555 Colt 1877 Thunderer 41 Colt D.A. Etched Panel, Rosewood Grips
This is a Colt Thunderer D.A. in 41 Colt with an etched panel and checkered Rosewood grips. The serial number is 25348 and is all matching numbers. The mechanical function is excellent, crisp and tight with a very good bore, bright and shinny with strong rifling. This is an early blue gun with over 55% blue and nice dark and shinny case colors. The grips are checkered Rosewood. The etched panel is light but is clearly marked Colt D.A. 41. This one was made in 1880 and is a third year production early Colt 1877 D.A. revolver.
