#3581 Colt 1855 Side Hammer Pocket Revolver 80% Blue
This is a Model 2 Colt 1855 Side Hammer Pocket Revolver with a 3.5” barrel also known as the Colt Root named after Elisha K. Root the famous Colt designer. It is a 28 caliber percussion revolver with a Cabin and Indian cylinder scene. All of the numbers are matching with serial number 6742 and was made in 1856. It retains 80% frame and barrel blue. The 5 shot cylinder retains 95% cylinder scene and all of the nipples are very good. The grips retain 90% varnish on the right side and 70% on the left. The grip toe has a small chip missing. The bore is very good bright and shinny with strong rifling and the mechanical function is very good crisp and tight.
