PENDING SALE-This is one of the slick Merkel KR-1 carbines, chambered in 270 Winchester. Most of the KR-1 rifle were made in the European configuration, with humpback stocks and Germanic cheekpieces. This model was made specifically for the American market, with a modern straight-line comb, and is marked KR-1 American.
This rifle has never been fired, and comes with the factory box, literature, warranty card, etc. I also bought a 1" QD scopemount ($295) that will be included with the rifle. These rifle have interchangeable barrels, so you can buy other caliber barrels to round out your set-up.
About $1,000 under MSRP.
