This vintage gun is properly restored to bring it back to the condition is would have been after 5 to 10 years of use by the original owner.  Oxidation and old lacquer on the stock and the forearm were taken off, dents and scratches were removed to the degree possible without changing the character of the gun, the checkering was re-cut, and a stock oil finish applied.  The preparation of the metal before it was re-case-hardened was entirely by hand, and the color case hardening was done by Classic Guns in Crete, IL.  The barrels were hand sanded to base metal and re-blued using the slow rust blue process. Please do not hesitate to call the seller at 703-625-4830 if you have questions.

The seller will ship this gun in a hard case.  The inspection period is 7 days from receipt by buyer.  Also, it carries a 30-day warrantee, during which the seller will have any mechanical problems repaired or accept the return of the gun and refund the price of the gun and the return shipping cost.  Seller has fired this shotgun using factory 2-3/4” target loads.  However, as for all vintage shotguns, it is recommended that new owner have it inspected by a professional gunsmith before firing.
