Description:
Inv. 5108   Japanese Nambu (Nagoya Arsenal), Serial Number 349XX, Dated, 12.8.....
This is a super fine example of the early Type 14 usually referred to as the "small Trigger Guard". The blue loss is certainly not greater 1.5 to 2%.......
The little loss there is due to some very slight if that, silvering of the sharp edges and the very tip of the muzzle. However there are two very scant spots of surface flaking that do bear mentioning.  One under the date and two even smaller on the same side but on the frame......

All numbered parts match, including the magazine. The grips retain about 95% of the original lacquer. There is, of course the circle found on all Nambus from the safety.  ....
This is evident in the pictures. There is some loss due to flaking on the front edges, however there are no chips, splits or dents. The bore is just flawless, sunshine bright, scalpel sharp with no signs of graying.  Rumor has it that this belonged to a Samurai Warrior who preferred a sword to his pistol.  Accounting for it's beautiful condition. (again only a rumor). It would be very difficult to find a nicer one.  For a picky collector looking for value.  $1095.00....
A spare correct magazine for this gun is available at $100. with the gun purchase $125 separately.  .
