SN 159917. CHE 12 ga., 32" Damascus barrels. Letters with straight grip, full comb, ejectors, Silver's pad, twin Lyman ivory beads, and 8 pounds. Gun matches these specifications.
Stock measures 14 3/4" LOP, and 1 1/2" DAC and DAH. Barrels are R .734-.696/L .739-.696 both with .038 constriction and min. wall thickness of .032.
Letter says it was ordered by Simmons Hardware August 21, 1912 for Hugh Mallet of Bradford. Ill., and was later owned by Allen Hol. Both of these men were well known mid-western trap shooters.
TPS says Parker only made six D4's with 32" barrels, and only 11 D4 CH’s were furnished with straight grips. 100% as Restored by Brad Bachelder and unfired since restoration.
