Browning Model: Sweet Sixteen Caliber: 16ga Features: This gun has virtually all the things that the collectors wants in a Sweet 16. The 1949 gun was orginally built for 2 3/4 inch shells has sweet sixteen on the left side of the receiver, has a guarded trigger. The gun with the low serial number was made in Belgium, in 1949 serial # X28887, a clean stock except for very minor dings and the original butt plate. The gun has an original a 27 inch Barrel with perfect bores, has a black and white front bead sight, honey colored walnut wood stock and grip, modified choke, and the FN on the original butt plate has floral engraving on top and sides. The barrel is stamped “Made in Belgium” and also “BrowningArms Company St. Louis Missouri” My guess is the gun would grade out at NRA near excellent being 98% to 99% and is in really good shape having been used very little. I can ship in the two gun plastic carry case.
