This is a FN Mauser in disguise. H&R contracted FN to produce a series of high quality rifles from 1965-72.The blue on this gun is very reminiscent of the deep blue in the Colt Python handgun. Forearm tip and grip cap have a figure that contrasts and yet blends well with the walnut stock.A very nicely executed design.
