This is an outstanding and early Winchester Model 1886 made in 1889. The condition is original and has not been altered from what we can detect. The case colors are still quite strong with nice grays and blues. The finish in the walnut stock also appears to be 100 % original to the rifle. There is some old dry oil on the protected areas and that is where we are going to leave it. This is an Antique firearm and can be sent to your home.

Chambers: Lever action repeater.
Metal Condition: Excellent with nice case color on the receiver, lever and hammer. Thin case color on the forearm cap and butt plate. The barrel and mag tube have nice strong blue with a light patina starting on the barrel. Very strong condition all in all.
Wood Condition: Excellent with almost all the original varnish and scattered small dings.
Bore Condition: Lightly pitted and thin rifling. This was an early Black powder rifle.
Barrels: 26 Inch round blue with factory sights.
Triggers: Standard single.
Stock: Nice stright grain straight grip American walnut.
Stock Dimensions:
12 7/8 Inch LOP.
Fore End: Matching walnut with a case color cap.
Butt Pad: Crescent steel.
Weight: 9 LBS 4 OZ.
