This is a Webley W.G. large revolver in 455/476 cal. Original high polish blue finish, aprox 92%? in great mecanical condition , excellent bore, matching cylinder, Ser# 13,016 mfg aprox 1896 or so. Army Navy CSL retailer on the top of the barrel. All correct Webley markings and proof marks. The back strap is inscribed to LT.Col.Falls ASC. It came with a lot of paper work about Horace Edward Falls. A British army office who server in so africa,, napal, India and many other places and with many jobs., A interesting 20 pages of British history comes with the gun.. If this gun could talk it would be a real story in british military history. I can only pass on the information as I got it when I got the pistol. This gun is in excellent condition and is a real looker. One of webleys top sought after guns. It functions in single action and double action perfect. The grips are very nice , the front and back strap have the usual wear for a actually used revolver, the inscription is a little weak but still nice.
