Description:
Standard Maynard markings and patent dates including the "Manuf by Mass Arms CO". This gun does have cartouches on the stock which are still visible but hard to read. Stock itself is in quite good cond with a couple of chips and a light crack but very good fitting to the upper and lower tang. A coat of oil looks to have been added years ago. Serial range is 7500. An aged finish remains on the metal of this gun. Looks quite nice with good markings. All leaves present on the 3-leaf Maynard sight. Some pitting in the bore. Riflings are good. The pivot and lockup is very solid on this Maynard. Hammer and trigger springs are good.
