Description:
This is a nice example of a finely made military sword. Heavy and solid in the hand. The scabbard has the remains of its original finish with some discolorization .. The blade is bright- near excellent-99%- no rust or discolorization. The grip is also in 99% condition and the parts surrounding it (hilt, pommel, etc.) are very good with some minor staining . The overall length is 36 1/2" with the blade being 29" long. The #14 appears on the back edge of the blade along with two proof marks and a third mark on the handle. A fine addition to anyones collection.
