Description:
William Powell SLE 12 ga. Very nice original gun with fine, tight scroll on the side locks and bottom and deeper oak leaves on the bolsters. The nicely figured straight grip stock is 13 ¾” to the checkered butt with 1 ½” DAC, 2 3/8” DAH and significant (1/2”) RH cast. The 29” bbls have .735 bores with .023 & .029 nominal wall thicknesses and IC/IC chokes. 2 1/2” at 1 1/8 oz proof but the chambers have been lengthened to 2 ¾”. Minute traces of colors and the mostly “white” frame, good blue and stock finish. A delight full game gun at 6 lbs. 4 oz.
