Description:
This little Remington New Model Police is a very nice factory conversion. The serial number numbers on the conversion plate and cylinder match, The frame and barrel serial numbers also match each other. There is a number 48 on the barrel and conversion cap. The revolver has around half of what looks to be a factor nickel finish. The revolver also has a set of great Ivory grips, there is some shrink that can be seen but the outstanding carving of an Eagle makes up for it. Sometimes the cylinder turns and sometimes it won't. This is not a perfect revolver but a rare and hard to find firearm with great ivory hand carved grips.
