The buyer assumes the responsibility for transfer fees or background check fees that the receiving dealer will charge. It is also the buyer's responsibility to insure that the dealer will accept the firearm(s). We encourage that the buyer contact the dealer before we transfer the gun to them for pick-up to insure that there are no problems with your transfer. If the dealer refuses to accept delivery of your firearm, you will be responsible for shipping charges to recover the firearm and reship it to a dealer that is willing to receive it.

After the purchase of Smith and Wesson by the Bangor-Punta manufacturing concern, Daniel B. Wesson set out to open his own manufacturing operation in order to produce high quality, American made revolvers for service as well as competition use. The Model 15-2 is the most well known as well as the best selling Dan Wesson model. The 15-2 used a roll pin inserted into the frame as a centering dowel combined with a precisely drilled hole in the shroud assembly to facilitate proper shroud centering and alignment, thus eliminating the flanged barrel shrouds. The 15-2 introduced more barrel offerings, including a variety of lengths, venting, ribbed shrouds, shrouds with full underlugs, and plain solid shrouds. This particular gun features a 10 inch unvented barrel and a Burris Optic mount.
