Description: Inv. 4859 Webley & Scott, Mark I Navy, Caliber .455, Semi Auto Pistol, Dated 1913, Serial Number 11XX. These, in this condition are very scarce, especially since there were a rather small quantity of this quite large pistol made for the British Navy. They were used in WWI and continued in service thru WW II. The finish appears to be about +92%. The muzzle and sharp edges show some silvering. The bulk of the blue loss is on the grip straps which have started to gray slightly. There is no rust or pits anywhere. The grips seem to be excellent showing little or no wear. All parts match and are correct for the gun. The bore is exceptionally sharp and bright showing that the gun has seen very little use. The gun comes complete with one original Mark. I magazine. This is a rare British Naval gun to complete that military collection at very fair price. $2895. The buyer must be familiar with all the laws governing the purchase
