Description:
Featuring a full length mannlicher stock which is checkered on both forearm and grip area. Also features a cheek piece on the left hand side. Orig sling swivels. Correct iron forend cap. Hooded ramp front sight. Redfield side mount receiver sight. Gun is manufactured with no dovetail on the back of the bbl for a sight. Checkered steel butt plate. Gun comes complete with Factory Letter from Herb Houze explaining that John Olin made about 5-6 of these to give to his friends. (John Olin being the owner of Winchester.) Very unique rifle. The 2nd one I have seen like this.
