Description:
Arrietta 12 gauge SxS sidelock ejector with full coverage scroll engraving. Seven pin hand-detachable sidelock with disc-set strikers and assisted opening. Barrels are 27 inches long with 2 3/4-inch chambers and fixed chokes gauging IC/C. Metal - overall condition about 98%, with what little wear showing appearing to come from shifting in a hard case. Wood - overall about 97%, with the majority of that wear near the butt and much appearing to be case rubs as with the metal. Butt is skip-line checkered. The beginning of a hairline crack was in evidence near the rear of the left lock and has been carefully repaired by Turnbull. While there, initials in the brass oval were also polished away. Originally paired, a gold "2" appears in the traditional places. Dimensions: LOP - 14.75, DC - 1.5, DH - 2, cast off approximately .15 and weight is 6 pounds, 7 ounces.
