Colt 1877 6" Thunderer .41 L.C. This gun is in decent mechanical condition, although we recommend being gentle. There is almost no finish remaining. The hammer screw head is boogered, and the cylinder pin has been pliered. The bore is bright with light rifling and some pitting. The cylinder locks up tight. The hammer tends to stick in the cocked position but fires if you hold the trigger back and pull the hammer back as far as it will go and let it go. These guns are tempermental, but most collectors are not looking to shoot them. If you have a good Coltsmith, they can probably tweak the action to overcome this little glitch.
