Description:
Winchester model 53 in .32-20 caliber. These light weight fast pointing models saw a very limited prodution. There were about 24,900 of these produced from 1925-1946 ( Bill West ). Becuase of a very high nickel content the receivers tend to lose most of thier blue. This late manufactured 53 seems to have held almost all it's original bright blue finish, with only the slightest of freckling,( pictures expose it worst than it is). There is a slight blemish on the bottom of barrel at the muzzle.Wood is sound with no cracks or chips, and all it's original finish. This model is getting harder to find with any condition at all. Retaining 95% original finish makes this one stand out above the restpare it to others you will see the difference. Asking $2575.00 shipped.
