IstYear Colt New Line .22 Revolver - First Model - Cal. .22 - 2 1/4" Bbl. - 7-shot - SN 8174 (1873). Perfect bore and action - perfect metal with sharp, crisp markings and no rust, pits, or corrosion - retains 99% factory nickel with only a few very minor spots near the front edge of the cylinder. Factory ivory grips are excellent and undamaged. This is the early and quite scarce 1st Model New Line with short cylinder flutes and no barrel etching, all original and in near MINT condition, showing no wear at all to metal or grips.. An outstanding collectible that will make a fine centerpiece in an early Colt collection.
