NEAR MINT PRE WW2 FIRST YEAR WINCHESTER U.S. GOVT. PURCHASE MODEL 69A TARGET RIFLE CIRCA 1941-2. .22 short, long and long rifle with 25” barrel. Model 80A receiver sight and Model 97A ramp front sight. Blunt forend and early pre war barrel address of type used with Model 69 but marked “69A”. Government “P” proof stamped on the receiver at the right side of the bolt and a five point ordnance “star” stamp on the left. 99.9% original blue and stock finish. Original in every respect. Mint bore and perfect working order. Undoubtedly purchased as a trainer in the period just before WW2 started. Exceptionally scarce and in superb almost unused condition.
