The likes of Virgil Earp carried on of these fine revolvers. This is a fairly early gun number 8594 which was made in the 1880's. It has a standard 6 1/2" blue barrel in .44 Russian with the deluxe diamond checkered grips. Gun retains at least 75% or better of the original high polish factory blue with the balance simply flaking or blending to patina. The grips are near mint. Bore is strong and the action locks up like new. Most of the case colors are still on the hammer and trigger guard. wonderful antqiue western revolver.
