For your viewing is a 1895 Winchester carbine in scarce 30 Gov. 03 cal. Rifle was used for horseback elk hunting in Montana for many many years. Rifle shows use but not abused. Amature butt pad added years ago, and a lyman tangent peep sight. Rear barrel sight is missing, but original screws remain. Barrel shows strong rifling, but is a bit dark from old style primers. Scabbord is a Rock Island Arsonal dated 1905. Rifle functions well and i am sure a compatent shooter Overall a lot of history here, if the rifle could talk.
