S# A6037259, 223 Rem, 24 inch barrel, bright very good bore with slight rough areas scattered throughout. This January 1975 built rifle features a ram line synthetic stock, Tasco 36X44 scope in weaver rings, crisp trigger and famously smooth action. Barrel has filler screws in sight mounting holes. Metal parts retain 80% blue finish. Magazine works, sometimes it does not feed smoothly. Rifle shoots bug hole sized groups, optics could be cleaned for clearer sight picture. The actions of these rifles is a popular platform for long range target guns. A fun semi-custom 788 in a great caliber. FFL.
