Description:
GREAT Marlin Model 1881 in 40-60 Caliber. Serial # 60xx (Vintage 1883). This is a Real Solid Marlin. Metal retains all of mid to high 90's % Blue with visable case colors on lever, heavier on hammer and traces on butt-plate. Wood retains all of 95% Original Finish with no cracks, splits and very few minor handling marks. Bore is Mint. for the vintage of the gun, we would call the entire gun "NEAR MINT". Excluding Engraved 81's, this is the second finest 1881 we have ever had. A real "COLLECTIBLE KEEPER". No license required for purchase. This is an antique.
