Description:
LC Smith (Hunter Arms) 20 Gauge Field Grade. Serial #167xxx (1938 Vintage). 28" Barrels retain 95% Original Blue, choked Modified and Full. Bores are Excellent with chambers let out to 2&3/4". Not polished where they were opened up. Receiver retains an honest 45-50% Original Case Colors on the left side and 35-40% on the right side (See Photos). Bottom is 10-15% with the Trigger Guard shiney from being hunted all these years. Wood retains 80%+ Original Varnish with no apparent splits or cracks with normal handling wear around the butt and wrist. This is unusual for these older LC's. Checkering is Sharp with Original Butt Plate. Very Strong Condition for its Vintage. Appears to have been well taken care of and stored properly. FFL or C&R Required. Priced to sell!!!
