* * * ON HOLD PENDING FUNDS / German P.640(B) Semi-Auto Pistol, made by Fabrique Nationale, serial # 894xx, cal. 9mm, 4 3/4” barrel with a lightly frosted bore. The blue metal surfaces retain about 85% original factory finish. The left side of the slide and frame has a series of fine scratches present, and there is moderate silvering present on the high edges. The backstrap has thinned to predominately gunmetal gray color with the front strap starting to thin and silver from handling. The checkered walnut grips are in very good to excellent condition with light handling wear. The parts are correctly stamped with an eagle / WaA103 Waffenamt mark on the frame, slide and barrel and have correct matching serial numbers. This pistol features a tangent rear sight and the backstrap is not cut for a shoulder stock. The pistol comes with one Waffenampted WaA 103 stamped magazine. This is a nice example of a Browning Hi-Power made during German occupation and the overall condition as described is very good. Inv. # 1-1236
