Japanese Type 38 Arisaka Navy Bolt Action Training Rifle, serial # 19327, cal. 6.5 Blank, has a 31" barrel with a very good but lightly pitted smooth bore. The metal surfaces retain about 90% original blue that is fading and flaking to brown. The top of the receiver has a crisp naval anchor with chrysanthemum in center logo and is otherwise unmarked. The hardwood stock rates excellent and has several light dings and handling marks and is marked on both side of the butt with bordered Japanese characters, one is a box the other a circle. The rifle appears to be complete and included is the correct cleaning rod. This is overall a nice example of a Japanese Navy training rifle in very good plus condition. (C&R) Inv.# 2-1717
