Description:
.303 caliber, 20 3/4" barrel with five groove Enfield rifling.
Receiver dated "ENFIELD.1900.LEC.I" Converted from Lee Enfield & Lee Metford carbines for the Royal Irish Constabulary and dessigned to accommodate the pattern 1888 sword bayonet. In very fine original condition with a crisp Store Keeper's stamp on the buttplate, very nice bright bore and with good blue. The wood is showing some handling marks from use. Very scarce.
