Clean Enfield made by SAVAGE, with a Savage bolt, the number is 2.and a super, super, shiny clean bore, with sharp rifling.Side of the frame marked: US PROPERTY. The stocks are clean with dings, and few minor scrapes,and much better than most. Action is smooth, and the metal is war-time greyish color. Many of these were sent to CANADA for their military use. This gun is a good shooter, and collectible since it was made by Savage for the wartime lend lease program.The Savage made barrels had the tightest tolerance of all Enfields made during WWII. .SN 7268795, a good shooter.
