Description:
A very unusual German made .22 ctr. fire rifle. with a heavy 24" octagonal barrel with a clean shiny bore and strong rifling. The breech block, top tang, and fancy trigger guard are profusely chisel engraved with 19th century scroll work. Front sight is protected by ears,and rear sight is intact. It had a top tang mounted peep sight at one time but not present.Most likely for the .22 ROOK caliber. The figural grain European walnut stock is finely hand checkered. The breech block, butt-plate, and trigger guard were nickle plated with much remaining. Name stamped on the barrel is F.B Schor et Cie. SN 4931. the right side of the stock near the breech block latch has a grain age crack beneath barrel and has been there a long time. We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check.
