Description:
Colt New Line .30 Revolver - Cal. .30RF - 2 1/4" Bbl. - 5-Shot - SN 5529 (1875). Bore is excellent - bright with sharp rifling -a couple small spots of very light roughness - perfect timing and lock-up. This early New Model retains 98% factory nickel - no rust, pits, or corrosion - 2 very small flaked spots on the cylinder - original nitre blue on trigger and hammer - sharp address markings - faint, but visible "COLT NEW .30" etching on side of barrel. Rosewood grips are undamaged with 100% finish. Approximately 10,000 of these New Lines were made in 1874-1875 - a popular vest pocket revolver in the 1870s. This New Line is all original throughout and in near mint condition, showing no wear at all - a super collectible in perfect working order.
