Lindsay U.S. Model 1863 Two Shot musket. Approximately 1,000 made from 1863 to 1864. Unusual two shot superposed load. Instead of firing each individual load the musket often fired both loads at the same time resulting in destroyed guns. This musket is in mint condition with mint bore, perfect stock, and cartouches. Low production unusual system and low survival rate make this a very scarce civil war musket.
